The Living Water Community Clinic celebrates its one year anniversary on May 29, 2017. The ribbon was cut and the Clinic was officially opened on May 29, 2016 to serve our community. Operations began with eligibilty screening, and we saw our first medical patient on Jun 9, 2016, and the patient volume has really grown. The need for free medical, counseling, and spiritual care for uninsured citizens in the community is great. We have been blessed with many volunteers including our interim... Medical Director, Providers, Nurses, Counselors, Administrative persons, Board members, and others. We've also been blessed with the financial support of donors, organizations, Churches, and grants to help us continue to provide the services. Thank you.
In the next couple of weeks, we will highlight some of our accomplishments, our volunteers, and our patients. We will also let you know how you can help keep this Clinic open and provide the health access needed by so many.
This week is National Healthcare Volunteer Week. We celebrate our volunteers this week and every week.
Living Water Community Clinic appreciates our volunteers. Without your support and help, we could not take care of those in need in our community. We will soon celebrate one year of providing medical, emotional, and spiritual care to many of our neighbors. Thank you providers - Dr. Tom Reynolds (Interim Medical Director), NP Liz Sullivan, NP Ruthanne Morrow, PA Mark Ford, and PA Mike Evans. Thank you to our Nurses, Counselors, Administrative leaders, Administrative Assistants, Board of Director members, and all others who give of their time.
When God's people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality

The Living Water Community Clinic recently received $2,730 from Rappahannock Electric Cooperative's (REC) Operation Round Up (ORU) program to help pay for medications needed by our patients. Operation Round Up receives its funding from REC members who volunteer to have their electric bill "rounded up" to the next highest whole dollar. If REC provides your power, we ask that you consider supporting "The Power of Change" by joining the ORU program to help others in need. Onc...e enrolled, the extra change from your electric bill will be dedicated to charitable causes. Members can sign up by visiting the REC website (http://www.myrec.coop/res/community/operation-round-up.cfm) or by calling 800-552-3904 for more information. The averge member contribution is approximately $6.00 per year and is tax deductible. An annual statement of your charitable contribution will be mailed to you.
Thank you REC for making it possible for the Living Water Community Clinic to provide medical, emotional, and spiritual services to uninsured patients in our community.
